Stonefield has embraced the wisdom practiced by makers of high-quality concert instruments (violin, viola, cello, contra bass) and top-end archtop guitars by using floating wooden bridges on all of our bass guitars.
The three piece design incorporates a wedge for its middle piece, which allows string height adjustment. You get the tonal benefits of a floating wooden bridge and the convenience of string height adjustment; a first for electric bass guitars.
Jarrah is a native timber of Australia and is one of the hardest woods found on the southern continent. It is well suited for the application and offers a deep reddy-brown finishing touch.
When your order has processed we will be in touch to determine 4, 5 or 6-string and to offer a selection of bridges to allow for unique wood choices.
